Jamaican Jerk Co. is Orlando’s go-to spot for authentic Jamaican flavors. From our famous jerk chicken to island-inspired dishes, we serve up bold tastes and good vibes. We’re looking for an energetic and reliable server to join our team for our closing shift.
Position Overview
The Part-Time Server will provide outstanding service during our weekday and Saturday evening shifts. You’ll be responsible for creating a welcoming environment, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests leave with a memorable dining experience.
Schedule
Tuesday – Saturday
3:30 pm – 9:30 pm
25–30 hours per week (consistent part-time schedule)
Key Responsibilities
Greet and seat guests in a warm and professional manner.
Take accurate food and drink orders, enter them into the POS system, and ensure prompt service.
Answer questions about the menu, specials, and promotions.
Serve meals, check back with guests, and respond quickly to requests.
Maintain cleanliness of tables, stations, and the dining area.
Handle payments accurately and process checks through the POS system.
Assist with side work, stocking, and closing duties as needed.
Represent Jamaican Jerk Co. with professionalism, energy, and a smile.
Qualifications
Prior serving or hospitality experience preferred, but not required (training provided).
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
Team-oriented, reliable, and punctual.
Able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
