Small six (6) bed Assisted Living Facility is looking for Caregiver(s) with flexible schedule to be a part of our team.
Responsibilities/duties may include:
Personal care: Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Meal assistance: Preparing meals
Transferring: Assist in transferring from wheelchair to bed/toilet/chair, etc.
Medication management: Assist with self-administration of medication
Health care: Communicating with Administrator, medical professionals, keeping care records, and facilitating care plans
Housekeeping: Keeping the home clean and doing laundry
Encouraging participation: Encouraging socialization and participation in community activities
Maintaining safety: Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment /Monitor and report changes in patient health status and behaviors
Qualifications:
-CNA/HHA preferred
-Experience in hospice, home health, or related fields
-Positive and patient demeanor
-Ability to build rapport with patients
-Ability to handle physical workload
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Must pass a level 2 (ACHA) and local background screening
-Reliable attendance as an employee
