Looking for friendly, caring, reliable and dependable long term caregiver help!
I am in need of a caregiver who will be able to adapt to my needs, is detail oriented, has a sense of humor, and is patient. I am particular about the consistency and quality of my care, and so this position is for individuals who will be able to offer their services for the long-term. This job is very easy once you get my routine down. And I believe I am easy to work with. I have been injured for 15 years and am very much adjusted in my lifestyle and routine.
Experience working with paraplegic/quadriplegic individuals, as well as experience driving a van is helpful, but not required. Training will be provided.
I have a ceiling lift for transfers, so no heavy lifting is required.
Duties include:
Bed to wheelchair transfers, personal hygiene, showering, dressing, and very light cleaning. Also, driving to doctors’ appointments may be necessary on occasion, and these extra hours will be discussed in advance and compensated. My van has the ability to lock my wheelchair in for trips to the doctor or out to lunch.
Applicants should live near the East Orlando area and have reliable transportation.
Unfortunately applicants who live in excess of 15 miles from 32828 zip code won’t be considered for the position.
In order to begin working you will need the following documents;
valid driver's license, documentation to verify eligibility to work in U.S. (social security card, permanent resident card, passport, birth certificate, etc.).

All caregiving hours will be compensated at $20.00-$23.00 per hour depending on experience and payment is made bi-weekly by GT Independence via direct deposit or different payment options are also available.
