A Training Coordinator will assist the Field Training Manager in all functions of the Training Center with emphasis on the Craft Training programs. This person should be able to plan a class, register participants, present already developed material, proctor exams and record results. This position requires someone who is self-motivated and able to work on their own when necessary. This position will require travel throughout the U.S.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Coordinate Craft Training using NCCER curriculum/Facilitate Distance learning using NCCER connect/Travel to projects to present training and proctor testing/Assist Field Training Manager with Rigging and Signaling training and proctor exams/Assist Field Training Manager with facilitation of Basic Field classes/Assist with coordination of Superintendent and Foremen classes
Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience
Presentation skills/Basic Computer skills/Ability to use hand and power tools/Ability to use basic presentation tools
Understanding of Industrial Carpentry/Basic understanding of commercial construction/Ability to stand for long periods
Ability and willingness to travel/Strong communication skills/Bilingual communication skills required
