Job Description:
Blown Away is seeking a motivated and experienced Asphalt Crew Member to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with asphalt paving and repair projects. You’ll work as part of a dynamic crew, performing a variety of tasks to ensure high-quality work and the timely completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in all aspects of asphalt installation, including site preparation, paving, and finishing.
- Operate machinery and equipment such as pavers, rollers, and compactors.
- Perform asphalt repair tasks, including patching.
- Maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with safety regulations on job sites.
- Work effectively in a team to complete projects on schedule.
- Help with clean-up and preparation of job sites before and after each project.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in asphalt paving, sealcoating, or construction preferred.
- Ability to operate asphalt equipment and machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
Hours:
Pay: Starting at $20/hr
Hours: 50+ hours per week
