Job requirements:
Ability to lift mid to heavy cabinetry.
Ability to follow assembly instructions for cabinet assembly.
Ability to use basic tools for assemblies such as a drill gun.
The work consists of building cabinets which is fitting precut, prepackaged pieces together and attaching them with brackets and screws. We are looking for someone who has used a power drill and screws in the past and has some experience of putting things together and overall being a bit handy.
The position pays per piece as shown below. The time it takes on average is shown next to each. Based on the assembly time you can typically make $25 or more per hour. You work at your own pace so if you are comfortable with the process and are quicker at it you can make more, if you are not as skilled and a little slower you may make a little less. You are only paid for what you assemble. Cabinet assembly is based on a first come, first serve. There are times we do not have anything to assemble or assembly is halted due to space limitations. There is not a guaranteed pay amount each week. This is more geared towards someone looking to supplement income not as a main source of income.
$6 per upper cabinet (avg. 15 minutes)
$12 per base cabinet (avg. 20 minutes)
$18 per base cabinet with 2 drawers (avg. 30 minutes)
$24 per tall pantry cabinet (avg. 45 minutes to 1 hour)
$42 per lazy susan cabinet (avg. 1 1/2 hours)
$42 per tall oven cabinet (avg. 1 1/2 hours)
You will work as a 1099 Independent Contractor. You make your hours. If we have cabinets to assemble and you want to come in at night, weekend, early morning that is up to you. We provide all necessary tools and materials needed. We pay weekly on Friday, direct deposit.
