As a Bee Removal Technician you will have multiple jobs scheduled each day to remove and relocate honey bee hives that have moved into an unwanted location. We have company vehicles for removal with all the tools necessary. Most jobs are worked by two technicians. We locate the hive, create a small hold to access them. We safely remove the nest and the bees and transfer them to a bee hive and bring them back to the bee farm. No experience necessary with bees but you do need to know how to use general tools. We will train you and you will be provided with all tools and beekeeping gear to do the jobs safely. Must be able to withstand the heat and even though we wear beekeeping suits, you will be stung at times so you must be ok with that as well. ( after a few stings you really don't feel it much anymore) This is a very fulfilling job as we save bees all day! There are days we work on the farm tending to the bees and doing farm work. This is a seasonal part time position but there may be the option for fulltime permanent position for the right person. Pay starts at $20 if you're awesome, we can get up to $25 quickly.
