Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Cable Work Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our experienced cable technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of various cable systems. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in the cable industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist cable technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of cable systems.
- Carry and transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from the job site.
- Prepare work areas by laying out cables and setting up necessary equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and problem-solving under the guidance of senior technicians.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
- Basic knowledge of cable systems and tools is advantageous.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and flexible hours.
