Superior Skilled Trades is seeking construction labor for a project in Clermont, Fl.
IMMEDIATE START!
PAY: $20-23/hour (Based on experience and role)
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: 6 Months
Responsibilities:
Interior Demolition: Safely perform interior demolition tasks, removing old structures and materials to prepare for new construction: Drop ceiling
Metal Framing: Measure, cut, and assemble metal framing for walls and ceilings, ensuring precise alignment and stability.
Drywall Installation: Install drywall panels to walls and ceilings, ensuring proper fit and finish.
Taping and Finishing: Apply tape and joint compound to seams, corners, and edges, achieving a smooth, finished surface ready for painting or other finishes.
Ceiling Installation: Install ceiling grids and tiles, ensuring accurate alignment and secure attachment.
Cabinet and Countertop Installation: Install cabinets and countertops with precision, ensuring secure and level placement.
Door and Window Installation: Perform precise installation of doors and windows to ensure proper function and aesthetics.
Flooring Installation: Install various types of flooring, ensuring level and secure placement.
Miscellaneous Carpentry: Perform various carpentry tasks, including trim work and other custom carpentry projects.
General Labor Duties: Assist with loading and unloading materials, site cleanup, and other general labor tasks as needed to support the construction team.
Tool Maintenance: Maintain and sharpen tools and equipment to ensure efficiency and safety.
Code Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local and national building codes and regulations.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other construction workers and tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in drywall installation, metal framing, taping, ceiling installation, cabinet and countertop installation, door and window installation, flooring installation, interior demolition, and general labor.
Proficient in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Strong understanding of construction techniques and methods for various installations and carpentry projects.
Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
Good physical condition and stamina for demanding tasks.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in both outdoor and indoor settings, often in various weather conditions.
Must be able to lift and handle heavy materials and equipment.
Mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure safety.
