Construction company looking for a driven employee to be a part of a team.
Job Tasks – The tasks for this position include; but are not limited to:
Build orders of construction materials; either with a coworker or by yourself, in the company yard for immediate
delivery or for delivery by another driver.
Safely operate truck (3/4-ton or 1-ton) and trailers to deliver construction materials either from the company yard or
vendor location to job site.
Load and unload company truck/trailers by hand or with forklift
Properly secure loads in truck or on trailer using straps.
Clean inside and outside of vehicles.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the company yard.
Fill up vehicles with fuel at the gas station as they come back to the yard.
Transport vehicles from one location to another.
Drop off or pick up vehicles from maintenance or repair facilities.
Offload vendor vehicles utilizing forklift.
Positively communicate with coworkers and supervisors via in-person conversations, text messages, or phone calls.
Skills
Defensive Driving
Effectively and efficiently drive truck and trailer for hours
Communicating with coworkers and supervisors
Getting to work on time
Being courteous to coworkers, subcontractors, vendors, and commuters
Lift 80lbs safely
Work outside or in warehouse for multiple hours of the day
Be able to take instruction and constructive criticism in regard to work duties
Hours
6am-3pm
More Overtime Hours are available if needed.
