Dumpster Today is seeking a skilled Part-Time Fleet Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a fleet of 7-10 trucks, as well as performing repairs and upkeep on shop tools and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in trucks.
Maintain and repair shop tools and equipment as needed.
Keep detailed records of maintenance performed.
Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company standards.
Requirements:
Prior experience as a mechanic, preferably in a fleet or commercial setting.
Diesel mechanic experience required.
Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently on a second or third shift.
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance protocols and tools.
Salary: $20-$35 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
