We are looking for a responsible Merchandise Reset Clerk to assist us in completing retail store resets of our products. Fastening Specialists, LLC is a faith based, family owned company that distributes fasteners in the southeastern United States to the hardware and construction industry.
You will be part of a small (2-3 person) team of employees based in Orlando, FL but travel to various locations throughout Florida, Georgia and occasionally North Carolina.
Traditionally, you can expect to be out of town a one to two weeks a month but are home on the weekends. Travel is predominantly only on Monday - Friday.
This is a full time hourly job with overtime. Travel time to and from locations is paid time. You will not incur travel expenses.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for building displays and merchandising of the fastener aisles. While doing the resets, keeping the working area clean and neat for customers to be able shop.
While working at the warehouse you are responsible for keeping trays and fixtures cleaned, putting returns in proper place for inventory control manager. Help Merchandise Builder when needed and keep back area clean neat and organized and unload and load truck for next reset. Any other tasks assigned based on needs of our operation.
Skills:
Experience as merchandising/store reset clerk or similar position preferred but not required
Solid understanding of health and safety regulations
Basic math and recording abilities
Excellent organizational skills
Great communication and interpersonal abilities
Keen eye for detail
Good physical condition
High school diploma
$1000 signing bonus for this position - $500 paid after 90 days and the final $500 paid after 180 days.
