We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to lead our team in achieving operational excellence running the janitorial services for a transit account. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in management, and leadership, with a focus on keeping track of issues, solving issues, managing a (7) person crew with different routes running 5-7 days per week. The Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of our company, supporting the team, resolving issues or breakdowns. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing janitorial company.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and implementation of new processes and procedures, ensuring that they align within the company.
- Manage and coordinate projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Manage a fleet of 7 vehicles and resolves mechanical issues as they arise.

- Create systems in the transit routes to ensure the company is maintaining contractual obligations.

- Proficiency in managing budgets and ensuring profitability.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Computer skills to be able to change routes daily within a routing software.
- Understand common mechanical issues and able to resolves the issues. (Tire changes, breakdowns, etc)
- Able to work outside alongside the crews, handle heavy lifting, not afraid to get your hands dirty.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000 - $60,000 per year
