Have you ever wanted to manage the productions of, produce, and edit films while being paid? As the director of a small foundation (SeanchaiFoundation.org) I have decided to step in and look for an aspiring documentary film maker that is not afraid to knock on doors, ask questions, and even work in foreign environments such as Japan).
Please take a look at the foundation website and let me know what your range of skills would be. Can you film, edit, and produce the documentary? Can you upload footage to the website? Can you start and manage a blog? Can you manage multiple small documentary projects simultaneously? They may range from subjects as diverse as Industrial machine fabrication, building products in the USA vs competition with China, Children in Japan from American fathers that have no contact with the father, Wrongly accused/arrested/jailed individuals. If you are representing a video production company or an established firm looking for a project, we are an inappropriate response. The director of the foundation is the CEO of a small industrial company and the position will have an office in that facility and will run for at least 2+ years including overseas travel. Must be comfortable working on your own and able to "take direction well."
