Must be able to read mechanical drawings, perform component layout, drilling, tapping and installation of pumps, motors, valves and pipework.
Assembly: Assemble mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and final products according to engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions. This includes fitting, fastening, and connecting parts using various hand and power tools.
Fabrication: Perform basic fabrication tasks such as measuring, cutting, drilling, and deburring metal and other materials.
Quality Control: Inspect components and finished products for defects and compliance with quality standards.
Testing: Assist in the testing of completed assemblies to ensure functionality and performance.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time spent, materials used, and any issues encountered.
Proven experience as a Mechanical Assembler, Fabricator, or similar role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
strong knowledge of various hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
