We are seeking an industrial maintenance mechanic that will be responsible for adherence to applicable safety procedures and the operation and maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment. Must have proven experience and ability to diagnose mechanical issues and determine the appropriate corrective measures.
Must be able to perform moderate to heavy physical labor, including walking, standing, sitting, and lifting.
Primary Responsibilities:
Repair machinery, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment throughout the production floor.
Inspect and diagnose the cause of the failure of the machinery to perform effective repairs.
Install, adjust and optimize equipment in effort to maximize efficiency.
Improve equipment by performing required routine preventative maintenance.
Perform facility maintenance as needed.
General everyday building maintenance and housekeeping. Compliance with applicable safety policies and procedures.
Required Skills:
Basic electrical troubleshooting.
Basic welding.
Working knowledge of proper and efficient use of PLC and conveyor systems.
Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements during operation of equipment.
Knowledge of routine maintenance.
Willingness to comply with the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Lock out Tag out try out procedure.
Obtaining and maintaining powered industrial truck certification.
Preferred Skills:
Light plumbing.
Basic dry lab work.
Basic building maintenance.

Expected hours: 38+ per week.
Compensation:
The compensation for this position is from $15.00 to $20.00 per hour. Pay commensurate with experience.
