About the Campaign:
Stephanie Murphy is a mom, businesswoman, and former U.S. Congresswoman who has built her life around service, hard work, and giving back to the country that gave her family a second chance. Now she’s running to be Orange County’s next Mayor, focusing on real solutions to grow the economy, lower the cost of living, keep our community safe, and ensure every family has the chance to succeed. This is a people-powered campaign built on a grassroots movement to put our community first.
Position Overview: We’re looking for energetic and motivated individuals to join the Stephanie Murphy for Mayor team as Campaign Organizing Fellows. This is a fantastic opportunity for students, recent grads, or anyone eager to begin a career in political campaigns. Fellows will gain hands-on experience in grassroots politics while playing a direct role in building a winning movement for Orange County.
What You’ll Do:
- Canvassing: Spend most of your time in the field, talking with voters and collecting petition signatures to help get Stephanie on the ballot.
- Volunteer Recruitment: Help grow our campaign team by recruiting and motivating new volunteers.
- Event Support: Assist with planning and running campaign events, community gatherings, and rallies.
- Campaign Data: Learn to use campaign tools to track progress and keep our operation running smoothly.
- Training & Development: Participate in trainings on grassroots organizing, relationship building, CRM management, and more.
