Your strong organizational skills, initiative and leadership ability, together with related experience, will qualify you for this fast-paced, varied position. In this role, you will interface with multiple government agencies and work closely with management and staff to ensure compliance with established procedures and ever-changing laws and regulations, including federal, state and local, as well as industry standards. Prior related experience required. Accounting experience a plus.

Supervision of office staff, including HR, scheduling, providing guidance to staff in all aspects of performing their duties, reviewing/distributing incoming mail

Facility management

Corporate records maintenance (e.g., registrations, annual meetings)

Contract administration (event contacts, property leases, etc.)

Insurance administration (annual renewal and obtaining quotes), including GL, WC, vehicles and related claims management (tracking claims and litigation);

Compliance with all aspects of environmental/health code enforcement, DOL, OSHA, Homeland Security, coordination of DOT with third party consultant ION (working with General Manager on drug screening programs, verifying accuracy of driver log entries, accident reporting, etc.)

Maintenance of vehicle registrations and asset files

Review and payment of repair bills for over-the-road truck maintenance (Approved by General Manager)

Customer service, as needed

Administrative duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of organizational and departmental procedures

The successful candidate must have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn using established procedures as well as the confidence to recommend improvements as may be necessary.

This full-time, permanent position in South Orlando (M-F, 8:30-5:30) reports to the Director of Finance and Administration of a family-owned outdoor amusement business, now in its fourth generation. Salary commensurate with experience. All inquiries will be kept strictly confidential.
