Project Coordinator - Construction/Remodeling

As a Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects from inception to completion. You will collaborate closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate and oversee all project activities. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

-Project Planning and Scheduling

-Develop detailed project plans outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.

-Coordinate project schedules in alignment with client preferences and company resources.

-Client Communication

-Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.

-Ensure a positive client experience by maintaining open and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Subcontractor and Vendor Management

-Liaise with cabinet manufacturers, countertop suppliers, and other vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.

-Negotiate and secure favorable terms with suppliers to optimize project cost-effectiveness.

-Identify new subcontractors and management subcontractor relationships.

Team Collaboration

-Work closely with painting crews, installation teams, and subcontractors to ensure cohesive project execution.

-Coordinate the scheduling of subcontractors, ensuring their availability aligns with project timelines.

Sales Support

-Assist the sales team as needed by assisting customers in the showroom or by attending prospect meetings.

-This position will primarily work in our Longwood showroom and require assisting customers in the showroom

when the sales team is in the field.

Qualifications:

-Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role, preferably in the construction or remodeling industry.

-Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail.

-Ability to work in a very fast paced environment and adapt to changing priorities quickly.

-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

-Familiarity with construction/remodeling, cabinet installation, and countertop materials and processes.

-Proficiency in project management tools and software.
