Maintenance Technician – Pioneer Property Management

Pioneer Property Management is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with strong ethics and a commitment to quality service. This role is essential to maintaining the comfort, safety, and satisfaction of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and emergency maintenance for apartment community.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
Complete service requests and identify/report potential safety or liability concerns.
Support and carry out preventative maintenance programs (fire/life safety systems, mechanical, electrical, etc.).
Assist with apartment turnover and make-ready process.
Follow and enforce all company safety policies and procedures.
Work within established property budget and cost guidelines.
Participate in after-hours emergency on-call rotation.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 1 year of apartment maintenance or related experience.
Proficient in general maintenance, including:
Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, locks, appliance repair, pool maintenance, and roof repairs.
EPA Certification required; CPO certification preferred.
Must pass background check and drug screening.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be able to meet physical demands of the role.
Reliable personal transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance.
Ability to understand and operate within property budget.
Professional and courteous customer service skills.
