We are a small, family-owned construction material supply company with office and warehouse space located in Apopka, Florida. We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistant/Sales Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities
Customer Service: Answer warehouse/order phone calls in both English and Spanish.
Sales Acumen: Strong negotiation skills and a result-oriented approach to achieving sales goals.
Warehouse Operations:
o Receive and document incoming merchandise.
o Operate a forklift to move and organize materials within the warehouse.
o Must lift at least 50 lbs.
o Maintain accurate inventory records.
o Identify and report any missing, lost, or damaged materials.
o Package and label merchandise for shipping.
o Handle all merchandise with care.
o Deliver goods to customer job sites when necessary.
Teamwork:
o Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
o Communicate clearly and cooperate with coworkers and supervisors.
Qualifications
Required:
o Forklift certification and experience
o Bilingual (English/Spanish)
o Valid Florida driver's license
Preferred:
o Experience in the construction industry
Benefits
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour, plus commission for upselling products
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
