Job Summary
We are seeking 24 dedicated and vigilant Unarmed Security Officers to work from December 23rd 2024 until December 26th, 2024 for a special security detail in Orlando, Florida.
Shift 1
6:30 am until 3:00 pm
Shift 2
2:30 pm until 12 midnight
No officer will work more than 1 8 hour shift per day.
Rate of pay $16 -$18 per hour
This particular assignment is temporary. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients during the duration of the event.
Responsibilities
Assist to help keep the event attendees safe and secure.
Be posted at specific entry and exit points when assigned.
Observe and report suspicious activities to Security Team lead/leads.
Remain courteous and professional at all times.
Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
No being overbearing to event attendees. No physical or verbal unprofessional behavior with event attendees or hotel guests.
Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required, ensuring the health and safety of individuals in emergency situations.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary, providing detailed reports on incidents as needed.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
Immediately report all threats, criminal mischief activity, and incidents to Team lead.
Sign In/Out prior to shift and at the end of shift.
Return all two way radios at the end of each shift.
Pass down all relevant information regardless of the severity of the information.
No sleeping on duty.
No consuming alcohol on duty or prior to duty.
Do not solicit, nor patronize client or the hotel guests for personal or business gains.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is highly desirable.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
A valid armed/unarmed security license or certificate is required for this position.
