Seeking to hire a carpenter/handyman to work full time at our HOA (Home Owners
Association). We are a clothing optional facility.
We have an immediate opening for 1 individual.
Compensation: Pay is based on level of experience, leadership skills, work history and
knowledge of tools. The rate is $16.00/hr. Benefits include free lunch on days worked.
This is a full-time position. Typical schedule is Monday-Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm with
weekend and some evening work required to cover emergencies. Weekend coverage is shared
by term members. The schedule may vary based on weather, occupancy and urgent repairs.
Primary Job Responsibilities include the repair of damaged or aging buildings along with
minor electrical, water supply and waste water plumbing. We also do some remodeling and
repair of aging properties. Repairs and upgrades to our facilities and grounds include, rental
cabins, restroom and shower facilities, bar, kitchen and camping areas. Tractor driving skills are
also a benefit.
Skills We are seeking someone with experience in all of the following skills: demolition, drywall
and drywall repair, paint, trim carpentry, minor plumbing, electrical repairs flooring and framing.
Applicants should have their own basic tools. Some tools are provided by the HOA. Additional
tasks including helping the custodial and grounds keeping staff may be assigned.
Job Requirements:
21 years or older
Reliable transportation to jobsite.
Valid driver’s license needed.
Must be able to pass background check and drug test
Location is Pasco County, north of Dade City.
