About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on commercial electrical systems, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. You will be responsible for ensuring all electrical work meets safety standards, project timelines, and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings and facilities.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform corrective repairs efficiently.
Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
Work collaboratively with other trades and project managers to complete jobs on time.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA standards.
Qualifications:
Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License (state certification required).
Minimum 4-10 years of experience in commercial electrical work.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, conduit bending, wiring methods, and equipment installation.
Ability to read and interpret construction documents and schematics.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Must have reliable transportation and basic hand/power tools.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
Experience with fire alarm, data, and lighting control systems.
Familiarity with energy-efficient systems or solar installations.
OSHA 10/30 Certification.
