Are you a skilled handyman with a knack for fixing things? Do you take pride in maintaining a clean and functional environment? We’re looking for a dedicated and reliable Full-Time Maintenance Man to join our team at a large 400-room apartment complex!
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, across the 400-room complex.
- Conduct regular inspections of the apartment complex to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants or staff, ensuring quick and effective resolution.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety standards are followed.
- Assist with setup and maintenance of facilities and equipment as needed.
- Document and track maintenance activities and repairs.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a maintenance worker or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC).
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or formal training in maintenance or a related field.
- Experience with painting, carpentry, or other specialized trades.
