We work with some of the top restaurants and hospitality businesses in the area. We are growing and currently seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC/R Service Technician to join our team.
Job Description:
We are looking for a talented technician experienced in commercial HVAC systems and refrigeration. The ideal candidate will be comfortable troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-ins, ice machines, rooftop units, split systems, and other refrigeration/HVAC equipment. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent customer service are a must.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and perform maintenance on commercial refrigeration equipment (walk-ins, reach-ins, ice machines) and HVAC systems (RTUs, split systems, exhaust fans, etc.).
Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment operation.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration components.
Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Communicate clearly with clients regarding service performed and equipment status.
Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate records of work.
Follow all company, local, and federal safety regulations and protocols.
Requirements:
HVAC and refrigeration experience.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently manage workload.
Must have own basic tools; specialty tools provided or reimbursed as needed.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience servicing brands like True, Manitowoc, Hoshizaki, Traulsen, Carrier, Trane, etc.
Additional certifications (NATE, OSHA 10/30) are a plus.
Basic plumbing and/or light electrical skills are a bonus.
