Requirements: Experience in the application of wet-coat urethane paints using spray gun. Experience in fiberglass and metal body work using fill-primers and polyester putties. Metal preparation with DA sander, scotch-bright and similar. Automotive paint and bodywork is applicable. Experience with powder coating on complex geometries.
Typical job duties include:
· Preparation of metal for finish
· Plating of aluminum using Type I and Type II conversion coating
· Masking parts per drawing using tape/plugs

· Maintenance of paint booth, prep area, all painting equipment and coating line
· Proper cleaning, storage and disposal of materials
Someone that has been painting buildings, or interior walls would not be a good fit. They would need to have experience mixing urethane and epoxy points and applying with a spray gun. Someone that has been doing only powder coat would also not be a good fit. Powder coat experience is a plus, but wet-coat paint application is the primary skill-set we are looking for.
