We are a growing Service Electrical Contracting Company based in Florida looking for an experienced Service Journeyman Electrician to join our team. We handle a mix of residential, commercial, Street Lighting and light industrial projects, and we take -pride in delivering safe, code-compliant, and high-quality work.
Technical Skills
-Expert troubleshooting skills for residential, commercial, and light-industrial electrical systems.
-Ability to diagnose and repair issues with panels, breakers, GFCI/AFCI devices, lighting circuits, receptacles, motors, etc.
-Competence with service upgrades, panel swaps, meter can replacements, disconnects, grounding, bonding, surge protection, etc.
-Strong understanding of the NEC (National Electrical Code) and local amendments, especially regarding service equipment, grounding/bonding, and safety clearances.
-Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and service diagrams.
-Skilled in safe use of test instruments (multimeters, clamp meters, megohm testers, thermal imagers).
-Experience with conduit bending (EMT, PVC, IMC), pulling conductors, and terminating feeders/service conductors.
-Capable of sizing conductors and breakers for new loads (HVAC units, EV chargers, generators, etc.).
Work Experience
-Minimum 5+ years of field experience
-Previous service / maintenance experience preferred — not just construction wiring.
-Demonstrated ability to work independently in the field, handling daily service tickets without constant supervision.
-Valid Driver License wirth clean record.
