Expanding Management Company is seeking a qualified Repair and Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of work on managed commercial properties. This is mid-level position for a tech with 1-3 years industry or trade experience. Commercial construction or residential remodeling experience may apply to experience requirements. Candidates with lesser experience will be considered if they can demonstrate the right attitude, basic skills, and ability to fit into the organization. Your decision-making skills and a positive attitude are heavily weighted for this position.
Applicant should have working knowledge of overall building maintenance, including drywall patch, painting, pressure washing, minor carpentry, HVAC filter change out and landscape/Irrigation minor repairs. Must be able to demonstrate basic mechanical abilities. Ideally, own basic hand tools and have reliable transportation. Must be able to lift 50LBS, work with limited supervision and be a "self-starter" AND finish assigned projects in a timely manner. Portions of this work is outside.
All applicants should read, write, and speak basic English to maintain records, work orders and communicate with other staff and customers. Hourly pay - 40 HRS per week (Days) with occasional night or weekend work required. No weekly “On Call” requirements. Compensation for travel time and allowable out of pocket expenses. Paid vacation and sick days start to accrue after a 90-day probationary period.
