We are a general contractor that builds and manages our own apartment communities throughout the southeast.
We are currently looking for skilled painters in the form of punch out work. Basically fixing everyone else's mistakes. One of the divisions of the company I lead focuses on doing the final mile punch work to turn over to leasing so we can get renters in the units. We are lacking on the paint aspect of this.
Mostly consisting of minor mud work along with paint and feathering and occasional complete repaints. This is done on a mass scale as each building has 24 to 36 units and a timeline to turn over.
Monday thru Friday work with normal hours being 8 to 5. Not looking for a vendor or sub. My own employees.
Opportunity for advancement as I ultimately want to put together a couple of crews so crew leaders and managers are in the future. We are a fast growing company and too much information to type so a phone interview is the best place to start. Followed up with a site visit to look at the actual expectations.
We have a few projects in outside Orlando area but ultimately looking for people who can travel around Florida and Georgia. That is part of the growth and advancement opportunities.
