Experienced Roofer for Repair/Service Department
Lead Roofer (Repairs & Maintenance / Service):
Financially strong roofing company with a leading market reputation seeking a highly talented
roofer for our service / repair department.
Key Responsibilities:
● Repair and install different types of roofing systems such as: tile, built-ups, bitumen,
shingle, single-ply, and metal
● Troubleshoot roof leaks on service calls
● Use equipment such as: boom lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts
● Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing
standards and procedures
● Accomplish organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and
different requests
● Maintain compliance with contract documents, plans, specs & applicable building codes
● Oversee daily schedule, daily report documentation and punch lists
● Additional duties and responsibilities required
Qualifications:
● Valid Driver’s License
● Knowledge of both commercial and residential roofing systems
● Physically capable of handling all aspects of roofing repairs
Including setting up ladders, inspecting and troubleshooting where the leaks are coming
from.
● Going inside attics to locate the roof leaks.
● Taking necessary pictures.
● Properly speaking to customers and co-workers, and not having call backs.
● Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company
specific safety orientation
● Excellent communicator, both oral and written
● Must have knowledge of using a computer
● 10+ years roofing experience preferred
● Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
● Must have reliable transportation to and from our office
