Well-established family-owned and operated local painting company in the Winter Park/Orlando area looking to hire experienced Master and professional painters. Painting experience should include painting the interior and exterior of structures, buildings, and other surfaces. Our goal is to provide the best and most top-quality work in the industry. We are looking for talented team members that possess spraying, rolling, and brush skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
3-5 years of professional experience in residential and commercial painting
Proficient with Spray Machine (optional but preferred).
Able to communicate job updates as required.
Must have Smart Cell Phone.
Have strong overall knowledge of paint sprayers and coatings applications.
Must have own tools.
Must have a valid driver's license (personal vehicle preferred)
Strong attention to detail.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Read work orders or receive instructions from supervisors and/or homeowners to determine work requirements.
Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures.
Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint.
Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material (e.g. caulk, spackling, wood filler, etc.)
Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture
Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools
Apply varnish and other finishes
Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions
Preferred
Must be able to work on scissor and boom lifts (certification preferred).
Stain and Lacquer experience
