PTE Golf has been in business for 20 years providing a variety of logoed products to Golf Courses across the country. We do all embroidery, vinyl, etc in house on demand for each client.
Description of role:
Our current Warehouse Manager employee doing this position is out of work for a few months having surgery, so we are looking for an immediate replacement. The position will start out part time most likely, depending on workload, and once the other employee is back, we would hope to hire the person who gets this job full time to work under the current Warehouse Manager and continue the role.
Here's the description for the current role of Warehouse Manager / Vinyl Installer:
The position is responsible for handling all Sales Orders that are completed from the Account Managers, apply the customer's logo correctly and get the products shipped out in a timely manner. Blank products are needing vinyl logos applied, and other finished products must be packaged correctly and then shipped out. Also responsible for managing the warehouse including receiving inventory, shipping via ground and LTL, operate a forklift, and managing another employee to assist in the warehouse during busy season. Will also assist in setting up our trade show booth at the Orange County Convention Center annually.
Tasks:
Apply vinyl graphics to blank products. Must have experience applying vinyl graphics to different substrates. We wet apply a lot of graphics.
Pick merchandise from the warehouse and package it to be shipped
Receive inventory and verify its contents
Count and stock merchandise based on inventory control log
Identify damaged, lost or missing merchandise and notify supervisor immediately
Pack orders in an orderly manner and close cartons so they are prepared for shipping
Manage a production schedule to ensure all orders go out in the correct order
Maintain a clean work environment and office space
Operate and maintain an electric forklift (With professionals providing routine service)
Clean office weekly including vacuuming, sweeping, etc to maintain a clean work environment
Skills and requirements:
Vinyl Application Experience required (Wet and Dry, mixed substrates)
Attention to Detail Required
Experience with UPS Worldship is a plus
Experience with Intuit Quickbooks is a plus
Previous warehouse experience preferred
Ability to work on your feet and carry objects weighing up to 80lbs
Must be able to pass a background check and have a valid drivers license
Work schedule:
Flexible hours, likely 20-30 hours a week.
Office Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5pm
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
