Responsibilities
Operate and drive a tractor-trailer safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate logs of hours worked and miles driven, following company policies.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
Utilize automatic or manual transmission and various trailer types as required for specific loads.
