We are seeking a detail-oriented Fleet assistant to join our local Team. The ideal candidate must have an active CDL Class A, experience in OTR Pre-Trip and Post Trip DOT Inspection and very familiar with all aspect of keeping up a sleeper cab running properly.
Duties:
- Assist in inspecting trucks (sleeper cabs) to DOT standards
- Support with trucks scheduling for repair and maintenance
- Collaborate with the team on other tasks
Experience:
- Previous experience in equipment DOT inspection
- Previous or current OTR experience
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation
- Knowledge of sleeper cab such as Volvo, Freightliner, Kenworth, International, Peterbilt.
Requirements:
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time.
- Bilingual. English / Spanish, preferred.
