Position: Independent Contractor - RV and Travel Trailer Transporter
Job Overview: Brilla Home Sales is seeking an independent contractor to transport RVs and travel trailers to various mobile home parks owned by our clients. This role requires a reliable contractor with their own truck capable of safely towing RVs and travel trailers. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring each vehicle's roadworthiness, proper hookup, transportation, and placement on designated lots within mobile home parks.
Responsibilities:
Vehicle Evaluation: Inspect RVs and travel trailers for roadworthiness and highway safety prior to transport.
Vehicle Preparation: Ensure proper hookup of the RV or travel trailer to the truck. This includes checking all towing connections, lights, and safety systems.
Transportation: Safely transport the RV or travel trailer from the point of origin to the specified destination within the mobile home park.
Delivery and Placement: Carefully place the travel trailer on the designated lot, adhering to all park guidelines for vehicle placement.
Documentation and Proof of Delivery: Complete a signed delivery form and provide photos of the parked RV / Travel Trailer at the destination site as proof of completion.
Requirements:
Transportation Vehicle: Must own a truck that is capable and legally approved for towing RVs and travel trailers.
Experience: Prior experience in towing and transporting large vehicles preferred.
Licenses: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Appropriate class of driver’s license as required for towing.
Insurance: Adequate insurance coverage for towing services.
Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions precisely regarding the delivery locations and setup requirements.
Reliability: Commitment to scheduled deliveries and ability to meet delivery deadlines.
Compensation:
Fee Structure: $750 per successfully delivered RV or travel trailer.
Payment Terms: Payment will be issued upon submission and approval of the signed delivery form and accompanying photographic proof of delivery.
