Conduct electronic test activities with design engineering staff.
Perform troubleshooting to component level.
Build and test engineering prototypes.
Works directly with the design engineering teams to assist evaluating test software and hardware for Sales & Marketing test solutions.
Conducts design verification testing of new products with design staff.
Utilizes experience gained during the design engineering development phase to determine the optimal test program flow and technical approach for production testing.
Validates production test procedures prior to official release.
Assists and trains the manufacturing test technicians, in test instrument operation and in troubleshooting.
Analyzes manufacturing and field failures, resolving technical related issues with excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Qualifications
Solid knowledge in electronics; analog, RF and digital.
Electro-mechanical skills – Crimp tools, Soldering – SMT, Hand Tools
Experience in developing test instructions and procedures.
Experienced in product development from concept to production.
Analytical reasoning and problem solving with knowledge in performing root cause analysis and recommending corrective action to resolve test failures.
Familiar with ISO procedures and ASME drawing standards
5+ years experience in testing electronic circuit boards, modules and test equipment
