Our rice mill is the only rice mill in Florida.OVERVIEW The Boiler Room Utility perform a variety of tasks within a manufacturing environment. The main duties of the Boiler Room Utility include ensuring his or her assigned area is clean at all times. This is a union general labor position in Boilers. Boiler Room Utility works rotating shifts. DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Clean Boilers and related equipment
Clean / Clear blockages for boiler equipment
Packing the different products into the relevant areas
Reporting to the supervisor on any anomalies
Cleaning up after work or in case of any spills
Performing any other job-related tasks issued
Required to attend training about safety, operations and Food Quality.
Transfer supplies received to their appropriate storage location area
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds
Must be comfortable climbing up ladders, working at elevated levels
Positive attitude and work ethic
Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
Willingness to perform repetitive tasks
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
High school degree or equivalent educational experience.
Ability to work any shift. Must be able to work long hours, rotational shifts including weekends and holidays
Must meet hiring eligibility requirements including background investigation and drug screen.
Must wear all required personal protective equipment
