Hypower LLC., is currently seeking Construction Laborers to join our team We have a large project for the Tyndall AFB and this position will require the applicant to pass a background check for access on the base. This is a David Bacon project with set pay rates. Applicants with CDL will be compensated. Brief description The position of construction laborer consists of performing tasks involving physical labor at buildings, highways, heavy construction projects, tunnel and shaft excavations, and demolition sites. It also consists of operating hand and power tools of all types, cleaning and preparing sites, digging trenches, cleaning up rubble and debris, assisting in the operation of directional boring and potholing and removing other waste materials. Tasks
Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
Assist in loading and unloading HDPE reels for directional boring.
Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth to grade specifications using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, or rakes.
Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, distributing them to the appropriate locations according to project plans or specifications.
Measure, mark, or record openings or distances to layout areas where construction work will be performed.
Read plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities.
Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials.
Qualifications and requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to adjust actions in relation to others' actions, give full attention to what others are saying, and use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
Must be able to pass a background check and be allowed access to the Tyndall AFB
