Still looking for someone to share a Home with my good friend Larry. He is a very young and alert 90 year old ( nearly deaf :) and a real nice guy. He is gone 3 days a week (dialysis all day) so there is a lot of schedule flexibility (you do NOT Need to be at home 24 / 7). He needs help with bathroom duties but is capable and able to get in and out of wheelchair most of the time with very little help. Primary duties are; to see him up in the morning: fry him some eggs, give him his meds, and make sure he is clean and dressed, he eats a lite lunch or we come visit and about half the time we bring him dinner or take him out for the other meal. At nite he might need some help with his bathroom visit but he puts himself in bed with almost no help, You give him his last pill in bed and thats about it.
All utilities, cable, pest control. yard maintenance included. He SPENDS HIS TIME READING, WATCHING TV & riding around St Andrews with his friends.
Home is located in St Andrews 2-bedroom one bath, nothing fancy, all new flooring and updated, VERY CLEAN & completely Handicap ready. Photos OF HOME available upon request. Pay commiserates with experience.
This could be a great position for someone wanting to work part time and save some cash up or someone who just wants a chill atmosphere to live in, this family give laid back new meaning, but we want Larry to be CLEAN, Happy, full of good food and surrounded by people who are gonna take care of him.
