Covered Keeper - Port St. Joe is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facility Maintenance Personnel to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, security, and overall functionality of our storage facility. This role requires someone who can work independently, manage various maintenance tasks, and address any issues that arise promptly.
Key Details:
Minimum of 2 hours every two weeks
Potential for additional hours based on facility needs
On-call availability for urgent cases
Responsibilities:
Security:
Check the gate and keypad function
Ensure the fence perimeter is secure
Verify all units have Davinci cylinders
Keep cameras free of debris
Landscaping:
Rake potholes
Pull weeds
Pick up garbage
Conduct a video tour of the facility (monthly)
Buildings:
Inspect and maintain gutters, lights, doors, bollards, and signage
Ensure RV parking markers and tarps are secure
Check for loose items in RVs and storage units
Move Outs (1st of the month):
Ensure all units are empty, clean, and free from damage by 10am
Change lock codes between tenants
General Duties:
- Report any potential pain points, challenges, or things needing fixing
- Repair/ replace signage
- Install keypads, cameras, etc.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in facility maintenance or a related field (preferred)
Strong technical skills in general repairs and maintenance tasks
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
Excellent problem-solving skills
Works part-time: 7-15 hours per month
Has a camera phone to take pictures with
