Overview The purpose of this position is to manage and allocate resources for the NF Digital team. This includes all resources (employee or contractor) are allocated appropriately for the assigned projects.Responsibilities

Establish workforces by identifying the skills required to fulfill project portfolio needs and provide a steady of availability of high quality resources.

Review resource allocations making sure resources, employee and contractor, have bandwidth for the projects assigned.

Provide leadership guidance and feedback around sprints reviews and demos.

Maintain technical knowledge and partnerships to facilitate career coaching for engineers.

Provide overall leadership to large strategic projects or programs.

Provide digital solutions to resolving technical resources issues around Cloud, Mobile and Web applications.

Review engineering backlog and assist with prioritization, collaboration discussions with Senior Experience Owners, Experience Owners, Scrum Masters and Product Owners.

Assist with managing technical contractors; building and standing up technical teams, contractor and vendor reviews, assist with creating professional service AFP budget.

Assist with maintaining, budgeting and approving software licenses, computer accesses and equipment.

Ensure compliance with Navy Federal Credit Union Digital standards and best practices.

Collaborate and partner with other internal business units to ensure external best practices are applied for resources.

Initiate and prioritize multiple activities for assigned Support area for completion of functions, manage and review employee and contractor bandwidth.

Build and maintain relationships with Product Owners, Experience Owners, team members, management, key stakeholders and/or external contacts (vendors, etc.).

Ensure appropriate resources are available when requested for projects/journeys and the business needs are met for workforce reallocation.

Create clear, concise and effective communications for managing resources. This includes creating surveys, agenda, and presentations to management on resource allocation.

Partner with external vendors to recruit appropriate resources when needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Significant experience in Digital resource allocation and management.

Advanced knowledge of large-scale Digital organization.

Working knowledge of development, Agile Methodology and Journey Mapping practices.

Experience in project leadership and execution, including initiatives with technology, processes, cross-functional teams and external partner team members.

Effective exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions, prior Management or Lead experience.

Experience in working with all levels of staff, management, stakeholders, outside vendors and contractors.

Experience with managing timekeeping in ServiceNow/ITBM and Fieldglass.

Collaboration to streamline technical issues around work prioritization's according to team bandwidth and technical project complexity.

Advance experience in running queries using WinSQL, Pivotal MySQL to assist with analysis and research to develop new platform.

Effective skill presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives and information clearly and concisely.

Effective skill in producing desired results and achieving goals and objectives.

Effective organizational, planning and time management skills.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Qualifications

Experience managing Engineers or other technical teams.

Banking/financial industry standards and practices.

Prior knowledge or experience leading engineers with CRM, Microsoft Azure DevOps, iOS and/or Angular experience.
