Gulf Coast Microcement is seeking an experienced plasterer or surface finisher to join our team applying premium specialty coatings to residential and commercial projects. Persons with general remodeling experience are also encouraged to apply. We specialize in high-end microcement and decorative surface applications for luxury coastal properties.
What we're looking for:
- Experience with plaster application, venetian plaster, decorative finishes, or specialty surface coatings
- Experience with drywall taping and finishing
- Experience with pool finishing
- Experience with shower waterproofing (schluter systems, membranes, etc)
- General remodeling, carpentry, and/or drywall hanging and finishing skills a plus
- Reliable transportation
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Own tools is a plus
- Professional attitude / drug-free
What you'll do:
- Apply microcement and specialty surface coatings to floors, walls, ceilings, bathrooms, and other interior and exterior surfaces
- Surface preparation and substrate repair
- Work on residential remodeling projects
- Maintain quality standards on all applications
- Assist with project setup and cleanup
