Vacancy expired!

Local Contractor with Alabama Roofing license, Florida State Certified General Contractor license, and Florida State Certified Roofing license, is IMMEDIATELY looking to hire an experienced sub-contractor crew that has pride in their work and considers themselves the best crew out there, to install structural metal roof panels in Shalimar Florida, Lillian Alabama, and Gulf Breeze Florida. Jobs ready to start now. Project in Shalimar Florida needs to be started ASAP. All walkable 6/12 pitch and under.

Installation only, all materials provided. Easy exposed fastener 36" wide Max-Rib / Tuff-Rib style metal roof panels. Shalimar job is the only one needing tear-off. 25 squares, easy tile removal with only 2 screws per tile. Materials and dump on site. $210 per square with bonus and pay bumped to $250 per square if completed in 7 days or less. For other jobs, depending on the roof pitch and amount of trim involved, the pay rate is $130 to $180 per square for installation only, with no tear-off. Progress payments for larger jobs, and quick payment at the completion of each job.

Need at least 3-man crew, or larger. Each crew member must be legal to work in the US, and eligible to meet state workers comp compliance requirements. Compliance with state requirements for Workers Comp is the responsibility of the sub-contractor. This means you must have (or able to immediately get) one of the following. Either:1. A workers comp insurance policy.

2. Use a personnel leasing company to run your crews payroll through that provides workers comp coverage (like Southeast Personnel Leasing or Frank Crum).

3. Have valid FL workers comp construction exemption certificates with the right code classifications.

All of these can be done online and are simple to do. If you're not familiar with the process, we can provide information with the steps needed to get one of the above and approximately how much they charge. Youll be responsible for your own taxes and issued a 1099 at the end of each year and be a free agent and free to do work on your own or for other contractors or homeowners.

ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE VERIFIABLE PAST METAL ROOF EXPERIENCE. This needs to be in the form of pictures of your work from on the roofs, where trim and flashing details can be seen. (Before beginning work, you will need to be able to provide addresses for the pictures of your work, to verify they are actually your jobs. So please dont be like some idiots and send metal roof pictures you found on Plnterest or G00gle). If you dont have pictures for whatever reason, (you should have pictures if you take pride in your trade) then local addresses of projects that you've installed (within 25 miles of Pensacola, FL), and who you did the job for (a contractor, the owner, etc.), along with a list of legitimate licensed contractors you've worked for (so please dont make up a company name and give me your buddys phone number to pretend to be a contractor or homeowner that you worked for).

A written sub-contract is issued for all jobs, which includes a copy of the complete Scope of Work and the manufactures flashing and installation details. You must be able to complete the jobs correctly, including trim and flashing details, and pass inspections. Please, be sure you have the metal experience needed to fully complete a job, since all jobs are a per project contract price. Meaning, if you start the job, but youre unable to finish it to manufactures specifications and local building codes, or quit because you realize you dont really have enough experience to completely finish a metal roof project on your own, then payment will not be made for whatever partial or half-way work was done. Therefore you must have skills in flashing details, and know how to properly cut, miter, notch, and fold metal flashing and trim terminations, know how to figure and lay out valley and hip panel cuts, know how to make sure panels are installed squarely, even when the roof is out of square, etc. Perfection, precise measuring capabilities, attention to detail, and pride in your completed work required. If youve done a few metal jobs but are not really fully experienced in metal, please dont respond to this ad. Must have own equipment, ladders, safety gear, and hand and power tools.

Not interested in crews that have charges for theft, burglary, larceny, shoplifting, B&E, or any other similar charges involving stealing, or be sex offenders.

If you're interested, please email info about yourself. Be specific about your skills and experience, AND INCLUDE PHOTOS OF YOUR WORK OR VERIFIABLE EXPERIENCE. Please, include answers to the following items in your email to pre-qualify:1. Is EVERYONE on crew legal to work in US, and able to get workers comp coverage?

2. How many years experience do you have installing metal roofs?

3. Can you provide pictures of projects you've done, and/or references and contact info of past employers or contractor's that you have worked or subbed for?

4. What tools or equipment do you own, and do you have everything needed? Ladders? Electric shears? Truck or work van? Etc.

IF YOU EMAIL US AND DO NOT HEAR BACK, PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL SPAM OR JUNK FOLDER SINCE CL EMAILS SOMETIMES ARE SENT THERE!
