Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Assistant in the manufacturing industry, based in Pompano Beach, Florida. As an Accounting Assistant, you will be expected to provide support to our accounting team by carrying out various administrative tasks. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, resolving customer inquiries, and ensuring efficient processing of customer applications.Responsibilities: Assist with administrative tasks within the accounting team Utilize various accounting software systems to process customer applications Handle the accounts payable and receivable to ensure accurate record keeping Conduct regular bank reconciliations to maintain financial integrity Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and present financial data Ensure accurate customer credit records are maintained Address customer inquiries related to their accounts and transactions Utilize the Enterprise Resource Planning system for efficient management of accounting functions Contribute to auditing processes to ensure compliance with financial regulations Manage ADP - Financial Services to streamline payroll and human resource management. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with ADP - Financial Services Proficiency in CaseWare Familiarity with Concur Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Understanding of Accounting Functions Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Knowledge of Auditing procedures Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations Expertise in Microsoft Excel Previous experience in a manufacturing industry is a plus Excellent communication and organizational skills Attention to detail and ability to multitask High level of integrity and trustworthiness Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
