Description Robert Half is in the process of recruiting an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk with a company in the Industrial field. As the Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk, your efforts will become an important part to the success of a company in the Industrial industry. This Accounts Payable Clerk role will be located in the Pompano Beach, Florida area. In this progressive department, career growth and quick advancement is possible. The Accounts Payable Clerk matches and batches code invoices, resolves A/P issues, processes expense reports, updates and reconciles sub-ledger to G/L, and processes checks.How you will make an impact
Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it
Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling
Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department
Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed
Execute additional tasks as needed
Provide support to internal business partners
Manage full-cycle A/P
Requirements
High attention to detail
Proficient with spreadsheets and databases
Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
Comprehensive knowledge of QuickBooks
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
