Description Job Title: Accounts Receivable ClerkJob Description:As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, your primary responsibility will be to secure revenue by verifying and posting receipts, as well as resolving any discrepancies that might arise. This includes maintaining records on financial status of the customer and the status of collection efforts.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
Draft invoice statements and distribute or post them as required.
Create documents and reports for financial transactions, including bills of exchange, bankruptcy proceedings and return of goods.
Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, and recording accounts receivables' data.
Address payment discrepancies and disputes on behalf of the company.
Follow up with customers for unpaid invoices or other discrepancies.
Coordinate with team and management to maintain collection goals and general Accounts Receivables performance levels.

Requirements:
Proven working experience as Accounts Receivable Clerk.
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations.
Strong data entry skills along with aptitude for numbers.
Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software.
Proficiency in MS Office.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
