Field Service Technician Field Service Punta Gorda, Florida Apply Description Fluidra ’s looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team . WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE In this position you will service all Fluidra products in a timely, accurate and professional manner with an emphasis on customer care while ensuring customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will:
Schedule service calls, perform service calls, and manage calls in an organized fashion.
Educate dealers and pool owners on proper product installation, operation, maintenance and service
Deliver product training seminars as requested by dealers and Fluidra sales managers
Instruct dealers on Fluidra’ s warranty guidelines and claims processing procedures
Represent Fluidra at local and national trade shows and seminars, in conjunction with Fluidra sales and marketing personnel
Work closely with Fluidra sales managers to help promote Fluidra products and services
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
Write routine reports and correspondence
Communicate & present effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
Up to 75% travel
WHAT WE SEEK
5+ years of industry experience, in addition to significant customer service experience
Outstanding communication & presentation skills
Positive attitude
Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
Strong working knowledge of pool/spa operation including significant experience in pool/spa product installation and repair
Working knowledge of MS Office and email software
Must take direction well, follow instructions carefully and exercise sound judgment in the course of assisting customers
Must have clean driving record
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent. Some college education preferred.
