We are seeking a full time Part Time Accounting Assistant with the full cycle of accounting. The primary focus of this position is, but not limited to, preparing daily invoices and assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable. Calvary Transportation Services is a family owned company has been in N. Venice, FL for 12 years.
Job Qualifications:
-Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is a must
-Proficient in QuickBooks is a must
-Knowledge of accounting cycle
-Writing of 100 + checks weekly to several different vendors in Quickbooks
-Posting and/or downloading ACH payments, auto pays, paper checks and posting daily in Quickbooks
-Invoice 150 + customers weekly via web-based software
-Import/Export Invoices from web-based software
-Collect, gather, & sort incoming/outgoing mail
-Scan documents into document scanning program
-Assist in answering incoming calls
-Willingness to work both independently and as a member of a team
-Acute attention to detail and good written and verbal communication skills
-Positive attitude on life
Tuesday - Thursday
8am-5pm with an hour lunch
