BEACH ATTENDANCE POSITION
Job Title: Beach Attendant
Overview: We are seeking a friendly and responsible individual to join our team as a beach attendant. The ideal candidate will provide assistance to beach visitors, monitor the beach for safety hazards, and ensure cleanliness.
Responsibilities
o Help beach visitors.
o English speaking and strong customer service.
o Set up and maintain beach chairs, umbrellas, and other equipment.
o Keep the beach area clean and free of debris.
o Monitor the beach for safety hazards such as rip currents, jellyfish, and sharp objects.
o Assist in emergency situations such as lost children, injuries, and water rescues.
o Provide information to visitors about beach rules, regulations, and attractions in the area.
Qualifications
o High school diploma or equivalent
o English speaking
o Good communication and strong customer service skills
o Ability to work in a team environment
o Previous experience in a similar role
o Work shifts are typically 6 hours.
o Work is primarily outdoors in various weather conditions.
o Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
o Ability to maintain composure and remain professional during high-stress situations
o Physical stamina and ability to work in outdoor environments for extended periods of time
Physical Demands:
o Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
o Ability to stand and walk on sand for extended periods of time
o Ability to operate beach maintenance equipment such as rakes, shovels, and wheelbarrows when needed
